No outside food or beverages are allowed into the Virginia Beach Sports Center. One personal, refillable container will be permitted for various water fountains located within the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Concessions will be available to guests for any large-scale event or in-house programming.

To rent court space during the week, please contact Andrew Montague at or (757) 937-4634 for availability. For weekend tournaments, please fill out the contact form, and someone will be in contact with you in a timely manner.

Yes, we offer a variety of items for concessions in our dining area. Times will vary depending on programming within the building, but should be open for any large-scale event or league play at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Catering will be provided at request only through Centerplate.

The yearly administrative fee is applied to each participant for any programming done through the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

Individuals utilizing the Virginia Beach Sports Center facility do so at their own risk. The property owner(s), league operators, officers, and staff of Virginia Beach Sports Center assume no liability for any injuries or accidents which may occur.

The waiver must be filled out prior to participating in activities at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Any participant under the age of 18 is considered a minor and can not sign the waiver. Any minor will need a parent or legal guardian to sign the waiver on their behalf.

In order to fill out a waiver, please create a Dash account.

The Virginia Beach Sports Center box office accepts the following methods of payment: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, cash and checks within 14 banking days prior to the event. When purchasing tickets with a check or credit card you must show a valid photo ID.

Event operators hold complete discretion of accepted forms of payment for each event. The Virginia Beach Sports Center is not held liable for operators’ preferred payment methods. For questions or concerns, please contact Event Operators directly.

In-house programs will be offered on weekends when available. Due to the partnership with the City of Virginia Beach Sports Marketing and Eastern Sports Management, our weekend availability varies. No weekend space is guaranteed and we will do our best to accommodate programming during the weekdays.

For rentals or booking tournament space on weekends, please contact VB Sports Marketing or info@vbsportscenter.com.

The Virginia Beach Sports Center does not issue cash refunds. We do not consider refunds unless the Virginia Beach Sports Center has to cancel an event or program that is not rescheduled. Refunds in open gym times will not be given due to lack of participation.

A returned check charge of $20.00 will be assessed for each returned item. Payment must then be made by cash, money order, or certified check and submitted by mail or delivered directly to:

If payment is not received in full, the $20 returned check fee will be paid first, with any remaining funds being applied to the account/bill.

In regards to Credit Card Refunds: The Virginia Beach Sports Center will only refund the original card of purchase. If the guest has canceled that account, the refund will not be processed onto another card but in the form of a check. It will be the guest’s obligation to inform the Virginia Beach Sports Center of this change prior to us processing the refund.

If the Virginia Beach Sports Center receives a Credit Card Chargeback for services that were rendered by VBSC, we will assess said fees on the guest’s VBSC account. Additionally, a $25.00 Chargeback Fee will be assessed for fees absorbed by VBSC. All fees placed on the guest’s account must be paid to VBSC prior to participating in other offerings.

Refunds that are authorized by the Virginia Beach Sports Center will be processed in 10-14 Business Days.

  • 20-minute halves (Running Clock)
  • Clock will stop under 1 minute
  • One full and one 30-second timeout per half (No carry over)
  • All games will be played with a 35-second shot clock. The shot clock will reset to 35-seconds on all offensive rebounds.
  • Each player gets 6 fouls before fouling out
  • 5-minute warm-ups
  • 3-minute half-time
  • Overtime will be 1 minute
  • Double overtime will be sudden death
  • Teams will be responsible for bringing their own balls for warmups
  • 7 team fouls = 1&1 // 10 team fouls = 2 free throws
