NYE Ball Drop


Art and sport meet in the ViBe District of Virginia Beach this May!

TVA is partnering with the VBSC to have an Adult RevCo 4’s tournament to Ring in the New Year. Play will begin Friday night around 6P and play until we have a winner. There will be a Competitive and Bar League Division, $35 per Player.

BIG Money will take place on Saturday 1/1.  There will be a 10A start for all of you that rang in the New Year. 

Tidewater Volleyball Association and Virginia Beach Sports Center are offering a New Year’s Tournament to start the year with some great volleyball. Juniors Competitive Divisions will play a Two Day (Saturday/Sunday) Tournament Format or you can have the option to work on your rotations, have the kids work on officiating and/or scorekeeping in a Sunday play day only “Friendly in the 757”.  Boys Competitive Division January 2nd Sunday with an 8am start time.

Juniors Tournaments will be JVA Sanctioned. ****Players can get their referee/scorekeeping signatures and requirements****

  • Tickets are sold online only.
  • As of May 15, Virginia COVID guidelines have eased all spectator limits. We are no longer limiting the number of spectators per athlete/team.

Feast Jam Game Rules
  • 20-minute halves (Running Clock)
  • Clock will stop under 1 minute
  • One full and one 30-second timeout per half (No carry over)
  • All games will be played with a 35-second shot clock. The shot clock will reset to 35-seconds on all offensive rebounds.
  • Each player gets 6 fouls before fouling out
  • 5-minute warm-ups
  • 3-minute half-time
  • Overtime will be 1 minute
  • Double overtime will be sudden death
  • Teams will be responsible for bringing their own balls for warmups
  • 7 team fouls = 1&1 // 10 team fouls = 2 free throws
